Welcome to the online home of the Hemel Hempstead Model Railway Society (HHMRS).

Following a recent decision by the Hemel Hempstead Model Railway Society Committee.

The Society is now reopen on Tuesdays

19:30 – 22:00

We are actively looking for new members to join.

We design, build and operate model railways in N and OO gauge from the steam era to modern traction!

The Society was formed in April 1959 in the town of Hemel Hempstead. Over its long history the Society has seen well over 150 members on its books and with such a large membership comes a large range of skills and modelling experience.

Over the 60 years of its existence the Club has used a number of venues and now is based at the Nash Mills Recreation Centre in Hemel Hemsptead.

We currently have 12 members and 1 country member on our books and we are looking for more!

If you would be interested in paying us a visit to see what it’s all about then come on down.

We meet every Tuesday evening from 19:30 onwards at our club rooms.

All our details, including a map of where we are located , are on the contact page.

We can also be located on Google Maps. To find us on Google Maps simply type in Hemel Hempstead Model Railway Society.

We hope you enjoy our website!
